HI, I’M Tae’Sia. Book A Free Consultation Now

I work with teens and adults (ages 13+) through virtual sessions, offering individual therapy, couples counseling, and relationship therapy for friends or family members. I’m licensed to practice in NC, SC, FL, and VT.

You’ve learned how to survive in a world that doesn’t always ask how you feel. You push through. You show up. You stay strong for everyone else. But deep down, you’re tired of feeling like you’re holding your breath—waiting for a moment where you can finally let it all out and be fully seen. You’ve spent so long trying to make sense of the noise in your head, the ache in your chest, the emotions you can’t quite name. You may not always know what you need, but you know you need something. And that’s a powerful place to start.

Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you—because you’re not broken. It’s about peeling back the layers you’ve learned to hide behind. It’s about finding your voice when it’s felt stuck in your throat for years. We laugh here. We cry here. We sit in the awkward silences and the big truths. I ask questions—sometimes deep, sometimes clumsy, but always with genuine curiosity about who you are and what shaped you. Whether you’re navigating trauma, identity, anxiety, or simply trying to feel like yourself again, this space is yours. Unfiltered. Unpolished. Unapologetically human.

My approach is intuitive, relational, and deeply human. I use trauma-informed techniques like TF-CBT, DBT , EMDR (finishing training Dec 2025) and narrative therapy, but more than anything, I listen. I pay attention to the words you say and the ones you don’t. I challenge gently and hold space fiercely. If a cuss word slips, I might say “oops”—but we keep going. If you trip over your words, same. We figure it out together. You don’t have to come in with the “right” words. You don’t have to show up perfectly. You just have to come as you are—and we’ll take it from there, together. Therapy with me looks like compassion and challenge, humor and healing, honesty and softness. You don’t have to shrink to fit into this space. In fact, I want you to take up more of it.

I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Counseling with a concentration in Rehabilitation Studies from East Carolina University, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCASA) in North Carolina. I’ve been practicing therapy since 2022, with prior experience working alongside veterans, sex offenders, clients on federal probation, DSS-involved families, children, teens, and adults. Each of those experiences has shaped the way I show up—with nuance, compassion, and a whole lot of realness. Outside the therapy room, I’m gaming, binge-watching anime, hitting the gym like I might win an arm wrestling match someday, or plotting my next foodie adventure. I also have a beautiful, bossy calico kitten named Asheerah who keeps me grounded (and slightly humbled). Basically, I’m just like you—flawed, growing, feeling everything all at once, and learning to love myself through it.
