HI, I’M LILIAH. Book A Free Consultation Now
One of my favorite quotes of all time is “When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives.” When I first heard this in the first season of Game of Thrones, I thought it was pretty but it didn’t strike me. However, when I read it two years later, it imprinted itself onto my brain. Many of us manage not only solitude but loneliness as well, and it isn’t easy. A pack is more than friends or even family, but it’s support.
I believe that each of us deserves space to grow, heal, and thrive and it is my honor being able to walk alongside people as the white winds blow. They blow for us all at times, and it’s okay to receive help in these times. Growing up, empathy and compassion as values were instilled in me deeply and it’s part of what inspired me on this career path.
I work with adults navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, identity challenges, and on the journey towards greater well-being. I am grounded in a person-centered approach which means my goal is to create a safe and judgement-free space in which clients can explore whatever is on their mind or in their heart.
I especially enjoy working with clients from BIPOC communities as well as those within the LGBTQIA+ community! I am very passionate about celebrating the richness and diversity of individual identities through therapy. I am also committed to growing in my practical abilities. While at Origins, I hope to learn more about CBT, EMDR, and PMR to better support client’s well-being.
A bit about me: I absolutely adore my siamese cat Coco and I have perfected the art of spoiling her. I am a very proud nerd whether it be Star Wars, auteur directors, fantasy novels, horror movies, anime, or superheroes. I enjoy my free time most when I’m analyzing storylines, dissecting visuals, and searching for deeper meaning in media and art. I find lots of inspiration in re-consuming favorite novels or films with a fresh lens.
I am so genuinely excited to join the wonderful team at Origins Counseling & Wellness this fall. If you are looking for a curious, warm, and supportive partner in your wellness journey, I’d love to connect and explore the possibilities!
