Fees: $50 per session

Interns utilize a Pay-What-You-Can model for their fees. The standard fee is $50, but we are happy to have a conversation about what is feasible for you, no questions asked. We do not require any documentation or proof of income to qualify for a lower fee.

Interns are not able to bill insurance for their sessions.

Life can become overwhelming, and it is often difficult to traverse the waves. Struggles seem even harder to overcome when we feel misunderstood and drained. Whether you’re dealing with exploring your identity, the weight of societal expectations, or your own personal anxieties, I am here to accompany you. Every individual has their own story, and I want to know yours.

As a transgender man, I strive to provide a safe space for exploration and expressing your authentic self. You deserve to feel comfortable, affirmed, and understood. Let’s take some of that weight off your shoulders so that you can find compassion for yourself and build the life that you want.

I am a graduate student with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology who is currently working on my Masters to become a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) at East Carolina University in the Department of Addictions and Rehabilitation Studies. I am passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergent clients, and anyone who is navigating the difficulties of marginalization. I use a person-centered approach with a utilization of techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness therapy, and the strength-based approach. Each client is unique and, therefore, requires a unique process. My role is to accompany you throughout that process while being attentive, empathetic, and providing intuitive feedback to assist in your personal growth.

I spend most of my free time with my wife and my dogs cuddling on the couch or building Lego sets. I love playing video games, writing poetry, and painting. I think that music and art are amazing tools for expressing ourselves, so please feel free to share your favorite songs or poems with me!
