Taking that first step toward therapy shouldn’t be complicated. That’s why we’ve made booking your free 15-minute phone consultation as straightforward as possible.
Maybe you already know exactly who you want to talk to. Maybe you’re still browsing and feeling things out. Either way, we’ve got you covered.

What Happens During a 15-Minute Consultation?
It’s a quick phone call with no pressure and no commitment required. This call gives you and the therapist a chance to chat, get a feel for each other, and see if it feels like a good match. The clinician will tell you a little bit about themselves and what therapy can feel like with them. You can tell them a little bit about what you’re hoping to get out of the experience, and see if you’d be a good fit.

Step-by-Step Booking Guide
Step 1: Spot the Orange “Get Started” Button
Look up — see that bright orange rectangular button at the top right corner of every page on our website that says “Get Started”? That’s your gateway. Click it!
Step 2: Select “I’m a New Client”
You’ll see two options:
- 🟩 I’m a New Client
- ⬛ I’m an Existing Client
Just like driving, green means GO. Click the green “I’M A NEW CLIENT” button.
Step 3: Welcome to the “Request an Appointment” Page
You’re doing great! On this page, you’ll see our therapists and their availability.
- Click the green “Select” button next to the therapist you want to connect with.
- Availability is always changing- If you don’t see your top choice, no worries. Look for other great therapists that might work for you!
- Still hoping to work with someone specific? Send us an email to appointments@originscw.com to see if they’re accepting clients for their waitlist.
Step 4: Choose “15-Minute Phone Consultation”
When asked to select the type of appointment, look for “15-minute phone consultation” and click the green “Select” button.
Help! I cannot find the 15-minute phone consultation option: This means the therapist you have selected is not taking phone consultations at this time. Please go back to Step 3 and try another therapist that would work for you!
Step 5: Select “Phone Call Consultation”
By now, you’re practically a professional button-clicker (a skill sadly not listed on LinkedIn).
6. Pick Your Perfect Time
Time to lock it in! On the calendar page:
- Month: Use the green arrows at the top (they look like this < and >) to switch between months
- Day: Available days will glow white — click the one that fits your schedule.
- Time: Times are listed on the right-hand side,
- Times are broken down into:
- Mornings (before 12 PM)
- Afternoons (12–4 PM)
- Evenings (after 4 PM)
Want to see just mornings or evenings? Use the filter options below the calendar.
Pick a time that works best and you’re almost there!
7. Tell Us Who’s Coming
You’ll be asked: “Who is this appointment for?” Choose:
- Me
- My partner and me
- Someone else
This helps your therapist know exactly who to expect (and how to prepare for the call)! If you are booking the consultation for you & someone else, please make sure you BOTH are available at the same time for the call.
8. Complete Your Information
We’ll need a few basics:
- Your legal first and last name
- The name you go by
- Your birthdate
- Your email
- Your phone number
This info helps us confirm your appointment and make sure your therapist can reach you at the appointed time.
9. Submit and Celebrate!
Hit “Request Appointment” and do a little happy dance! You’ve officially booked your FREE 15-minute phone consultation. 🎉
Remember to:
- Save the date and time in your calendar
- Answer when your therapist calls, even if it’s from an unfamiliar/blocked number.
