Approaches I use
My approach to therapy
Many of my clients describe feeling overwhelmed by thoughts they can’t control, worrying about things that never bothered them before, or feeling exhausted from trying to balance it all.
Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re returning after a break, there’s nothing too “weird” or “dramatic” to discuss here. My office is a judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are.
I use evidence-based approaches including CBT, ERP (especially effective for anxiety and OCD), person-centered therapy, and mindfulness techniques, tailored specifically to what works for you. I’m laid-back, open-minded, and collaborative, and I continuously seek your feedback to make sure therapy is actually helping, not just checking a box.
"Something feels off. I don't feel like myself anymore. I feel so alone."
You might be thinking
A little about me
I love this work because I get a front-row seat to people realizing, often for the first time, that the thoughts running through their head don’t define them. I’m big on meeting you exactly where you are: no scripts, no lectures, just an honest conversation about what’s actually going on and what might help.
I bring a pretty laid-back energy into session. I’ll ask direct questions, I’ll name patterns I notice, and I’ll always check in on whether what we’re doing is actually working for you. Therapy should feel collaborative, not like homework someone else assigned you.
What I like to do
Outside the office, I spend most of my free time at the beach, in the sun, or out in nature with my dog. I’m also very into exercising, and I love binge-watching any kind of crime or thriller documentary.
