Therapy for the Things That Keep Coming Back

Maybe you’re thinking, “I thought I’d already worked through this. Why is it showing up again?” You may have done years of reflection, therapy, survival, or healing work and still find old pain surfacing when life shifts, relationships change, or the world becomes too much.

Tavi works with people navigating trauma, shame, identity, strained relationships, narcissistic abuse, and the deeper patterns that don’t always disappear just because you understand where they came from. Their work is especially grounded in supporting people whose identities, relationships, cultures, or experiences have not always been fully understood or respected in traditional therapy spaces.

Healing with Tavi isn’t about erasing your history or forcing yourself to “move on.” It’s about becoming more rooted in yourself, reconnecting with your body and relationships, and making room for greater connection, love, and contentment in a life that can be both beautiful and hard.

My Approach to Therapy

Tavi’s approach is trauma-informed, liberatory, affirming, relational, and deeply rooted in the belief that healing does not happen separately from identity, culture, community, history, or the systems people live within.

Depending on what you need, Tavi draws from EMDR, Attachment-Based Therapy, Parts Work, Narrative Therapy, and other trauma-informed approaches. Their work may also incorporate connection with the body, nature, ancestral wisdom, humor, and the relationships that help people feel grounded in who they are.

Tavi brings particular experience working across diverse cultural backgrounds, ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, and relationship structures. You don’t have to separate the “acceptable” parts of yourself from the rest before entering therapy.

Many of Tavi’s clients have worked with them over long periods of time, using therapy both for deeper trauma recovery and as trusted support through ongoing changes in relationships, identity, family, work, and life. The work can hold serious pain while still making room for humor, resistance, connection, and joy.

"I thought I'd already worked through this, but it keeps coming back. I'm tired of carrying the same pain, shame, or relationship patterns and wondering why I still can't seem to get free of them."
